Randomly remembered the biggest load of shit I heard today at school.
As most should know, I’m in school for Care and Development of Young Children. Blah blah. We are a dominantly female class. In fact we only have ONE guy in the class room. Which is whatever to me.
Well, my teacher recently implemented that we all had to start wearing scrubs to look professional.
All but the one male student. When all the females students went to her about this she actually had the nerve to say that it was because the female students were more prone to dress provocatively.
Am I crazy for feeling insulted?
I’m all for everyone dressing professionally but why should I have to wear scrubs because I’m a female and he can wear jeans and whatever the hell he wants just because he’s a male. I’ve never dressed provocatively to school before.

OMFG that is just ridiculous! I agree with louisianabrewed that you should go to to her supervisor because that is sexist. If they dictate scrubs then all should wear them, but not for the reasons that she said.

Go above her to a supervisor. You pay to go to that school and she’s being straight up sexist. Pretty sure that’s illegal, I know it definitely is in the work place, school should be no different.
